Great place for peace and quiet. The rooms are very clean and well prepared for any first time American in Kashmir. The service was phenomenal and punctual. Each time I asked for something the host delivered all of my requests at a timely manner. The location is a bit isolated but that is as expected and much much better than being at the center of the main town. You are surrounded by nature all around and friendly people. I have no complaints whatsoever and will definitely be visiting in the future. I was blessed with the opportunity to see fresh snowfall the night I stay, hope to visit in the summer next time!

This place is a hidden gem. Locally owned, avay from bustle of Srinagar at prime location on Srinagar hills with streight weiw on Thajiwas Glacier. Fresh home made food, welcoming hosts.

Amazing resort with a mind blowing location and having rooms facing Tajwas glaciers' view. Resort manager Amin bhayya and his son Tazeem were very helpful and made our stay memorable there. Ideal place for anyone who looks for a quiet and serene place to get away from the crowd. Super Pet friendly place where my golden retriever had a fun filled snow fall experience in sonamarg. Rooms were well maintained and clean. Electric blankets were available in rooms and Hot water was availavle in washrooms. Food was delicious. Hot water for drinking & wifi were provided on request. Note: Try to reach the resort at least by 5pm before its gets dark as the 1-2 km rough route to reach the resort might confuse if you are new to the area.

We had a great time in Himalayan Herbal resort. It is situated in a picturesque location in the midst of mountains with a water stream closeby. The flowering plants in the resort were in full bloom during our visit and it was a sight to behold. The pictures posted below do not do justice to the mesmerizing beauty of the place. We loved the amazing food & hospitality they offered. It was an amazing experience and we look forward to our next visit there.
